1. I am the mother to four grown children, Three boys and the youngest a girl.
2. Grandma Ida is my favorite name but it took years to appreciate it! I am named for my Great – Grandmother… She was the best … and the day I became Grandma Ida was the day I finally fell in love with my old fashioned first name.
3. I love gardening
4. Genealogy is so interesting, I have binders full for each family name ( some have a number of binders)
5. I am a pack-rat and the show Hoarders scares me! I go into a cleaning, sorting frenzy after I watch that show!
6. Vintage clothing is another passion. Vintage jewelry too
7. I am part of a law enforcement family, husband, one son and son-in-law are all law enforcement in our small town.

I love the name Ida! This was cool to read about you! Keep gardening. Did you ever watch the show on TLC, Clean Sweep, where they clean everything out of two rooms and then re-do the rooms while the owners sort out all the things that were in there? I loved that show! Some people would just loose their minds over their stuff...they just couldn't part with it...my mom is like that!:)
Yes I really enjoy watching Clean Sweep too! I probably wouldn't let them in my house though LOL! They always want to force someone to get rid of family heirlooms and my husband has a few he would never let go of and I love too. I guess you hide that stuff before they get there huh? LOL. That show always inspires me to donate a big bag of things to the thrift store also.
